Gift Advice

We are both 16 and about the time of her birthday we would have been going out for about 8 months. Her birthday is coming up soon and we are in a very serious relationship. i asked her what she wanted and she said all she wants is my love but i want to get her more than that. she is also getting me something for my birthday which is like right before hers and i know she is trying real hard to make it special so i would feel horrible if i couldn’t make her day just as special. I love her to death but she is really picky! i want it to be like perfect! i don’t have very much money though, unlike her… she has gotten me countless gifts throughout our relationship and i haven’t gotten her anything because i never have the money… i can really get a job now but ive been kinda saving and i have about $100 to spend on her and ma-by $150 by her birthday. im willing to spend ever last cent because i have no use for my money right now anyway and i would also like to do something romantic or really sweet.
im thinking about asking her mom and her friends for gift ideas but i want other opinions too. she loves bright, vibrant colors and her style to me is like a combination of scene/skater girl.

i’m thinking about buying a rubiks cube for my boyfriend, and takign the stickers off and instead of having colored stickers, i will have pictures of us on each side. and he will have to solve it to see the pictures. He said he loves doing rubiks cubes cause thye calm him down haha is this a bad idea or not?
