It’s her sweet sixteen. I want to get her something really special because she made me a scrapbook for my birthday. She’s one of my best friends, so I know her really well, but none of her interests spark any gift ideas. She likes dancing, dolphins, myspace etc. I mean it’s just like a bunch of pointless things, and I just can’t think of a gift that would be good for her.

i was thinking i can buy a penny bank and have the baby’s name and birthday on it. My idea is pretty generic, what should i get personalized thats not to pricey.

My daughter is being promoted to an older classroom at preschool. She will still be in the same building (only 4 classrooms), and we will see her old teachers often. I am just thinking we should GIVE something to the 2 old teachers. Any ideas?

She’s a really sweet girl, and I’d like to get her something that she’ll love that isn’t ridiculously cliche (I was originally thinking jewelery, and still might go that route..but its just so…common). Anyway, she’s a really light-hearted girl who has a passion for all things french. She absolutely loves the lavender fields in Southern France, if that helps. I also thought of maybe getting her some kind of french chocolate, and though she’d enjoy them, she tells me she’s been trying to watch her weight, and I don’t want to stop her from doing that.
I guess what I’m looking for is something either uniquely French to give her, or for some kind of distinctly French jewelery. I absolutely love her, and want to get her something perfect, but am at a loss for knowledge of the French culture. Any ideas would be wonderful.

We have been dating for quite some time now.. and his bday is coming up and hes in his late 20’s.. every year i get him something different.. (like to be creative haha).. this year i have narrowed it down to a couple of things.. my question is do guys like jewlry? He already has a braclet (which is okay okay) and wears a gold ring… I wanted to get him something from Tiffany and Co but as much as I wanna get him something from there its not possible.. its well over the top (price wise).. i’m thinking a coat blazer.. a nice one… what other gift ideas would be suggested?

I already have an idea of what I’m actually buying him gift wise, but I want to do something more. His interests include sports, movies, comics, drawing, crossword puzzles. I’m thinking of giving him either this very hard to find Iron man collectible (that I already purchased, but I could always give it to one of my brothers) or some sort of new drawing kit. Oh, he is also not the fancy dinner..etc type. He’s more of the earthy, rather spend my time with you at lake rather than anything over the top.
