Not ‘her’ as in girlfriend, ‘her’ as in good friend. My friend’s birthday is comin’ up soon and I don’t know what to get her… I REALLY want to get her some sort of graphic tee, but she is TINY! She’s 12 years old and she looks like she’s 8. Some of the FOURTH graders are taller than her, and she’s gonig in to 7th! She wears a size 7/8. She’s pretty happy-go-lucky and I just want to get her somethin’ she’ll like. Would an XS shirt in wetseal-sizing fit her? What are some different gift ideas? Thanks in advance!

well see, about a month ago, i completed this big long-term school project that in part required me to find a mentor to teach me about the subjec i chose for my project. i havent properly thanked my mentor yet…..i owe it to her in big part that i succeeded in my project. she took the time and care to guide me and give me great advice throughout my project. i dont know what i want to give to her as a thanks. what she did for me was big. i have a card ill be giving to her but i cant come up with a good gift idea. i suck at coming up with gift ideas……help!! ill greatly appreciate it!

I’m having a really big “Sweet 14″ party, that is going to be shared with my friends. Our dad’s decided to pay for it, and our mom’s are saying how selfish we would sound to the kids from our school that come from a poor family (everyone in the grade is invited). My friend and I don’t want the gifts (we are going to have over 200 people and don’t think it should be). We want to give to somewhere, and maybe make the grade recconize how lucky we are! What do you think of these options?

#1- Our homeless shelter “playroom” has only some blocks and a book. Everyone could bring a new toy or book to donate to the homeless shelter playroom.

#2- The animal shelter feeds the dogs Natural Balance (I called to ask them today). Everyone bring a bag of Natural Balance Puppy Formula or Natural Balance Cat Formula.

#3- I actually heard of this thing in my town that gives out diapers and wipes to parents that can’t afford them. Everyone comes with a box of diapers and wipes.
I do feel bad, because I mean were spending thousands (my parents and my friends parents together) for 1 night, when people can barely afford the basics. This party also inculdes EVERYONE. Nobody is left out. Entire grade is invited! Also we are having a few out of school friends (swim team and church). That also does some good. And no, I eally do want to help these people. Not just cause my mom said so.

My nephew is turning 3 in august..any good ideas for gifts??
